Located in remote Raja Ampat, Indonesia, our resort island is a true tropical hideaway. We are just south of the equator, hidden in an archipelago of uninhabited islands. Our resort island is fringed with powder-white beaches and pristine coral reefs. With a maximum capacity of just 40 guests and a staff-to-guest ratio of 4 to 1, Misool offers exclusive adventure holidays and transformative experiences in pristine nature.
"Misool represents one of the most pristine reef systems left on earth — one of only a handful of places in the universe where biodiversity is improving rather than declining." -Dr. Mark Erdmann, marine biologist, coral reef ecologist, and Vice President of Conservation International’s Asia-Pacific marine programs
Misool is a private island resort, 165 km away from the nearest town, and one hour by speedboat from the nearest village. Our island is surrounded by hundreds of uninhabited islands and our own 300,000-acre Misool Marine Reserve. There are few places more naturally isolated than Misool.
Nevertheless, as coronavirus shifts everything that was once normal, we are implementing numerous changes to our policies and operating procedures. These changes intend to safeguard you, our guests, and our team against coronavirus and Covid-19, so that you can continue to safely explore the world’s richest reefs here in Raja Ampat.
