Hello Arthy,
This is David Fairholm from Canada. We have just completed our Jungle Riverboat and Birding Tour.
It was a most enjoyable 5 days experience and we saw many Orangutans and birds . We also toured a village on our way out and it was a wonderful visit. We have seen many villages in Indonesia and I can truly say that this was the cleanest of all we have seen. It was a great part of our visit.
We visited each camp and stayed at interesting spots along the river. We saw Orangutans at each of the camps as well as birds as we meandered along the river, several groups of monkeys, and a few dolphins at the mouth of the river.
Our guide, Anang, was very knowledgeable as he lives in the town of Kumai and had previously lived in the Jungle in his young years. His service as a guide was absolutely outstanding. The food was excellent and the boat driver was helpful in pointing out wildlife and sites. The staff and guide were fabulous. All in all, it was a wonderful trip.
Thank you Arthy for making all the arrangements. The flight and boat connections all went very well. We have now returned to Canada with wonderful memories of a great experience,
