The journey takes about 3 hour drive from the southern part of Bali. Tulamben is home to the famous dive / snorkeling site, the USAT shipwreck that has turned into a beautiful coral garden. The 120m long wreck rests on a 90 degree angle with the deck facing the open sea and used to be an American supply ship. Anchored off the coast of Lombok, the ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo du ring World War II. Miraculously nobody got hurt, but the damage turned the ship into a non-functioning and useless hull. The American Navy's plan to tow the ship to Singaraja harbour (north Bali) failed as the harbour w as completely occupied, so the ship was intentionally stranded on the rocky beach of Tulamben, where it was unloaded. Here you can witness anemone fish, lion fish, scorpion fish, moray eels an d schools of brightly coloured harlequin sweetlips, either hiding out or swimming openly around the wreck. The dark volcanic sandy bottom only adds to the mystery of this shipwreck, making it a unique snorkeling adventure and keeps an eye out for those blue spotted sting rays; they like to bury themselves beneath the sand.

The waters of eastern part of Bali are home to beautiful underwater creature. Padang Bai snorkeling sites such as Blue lagoon and tanjung Jepun are suitable for snorkeler from all level of experience. Here you will discover the underwater treasure like butterfly fish, angelfish, parrot fish and many more. From the shore, we will take a local fishing boat called Jukung to reach the snorkeling site.
