Bogor town is located south of Jakarta. Bogor was the capital of Indonesia during the British occupation under Stamford Raffles. It was used as the capital by the Dutch during the dry season.
Bogor is famous because of its Botanical Garden which borders the Palace Grounds, covering an area of 87 hectares with thousands of species of plant life from all over the world, including towering age-old trees and the rarest kinds of orchids. See the original “Have a Brazilliensis” rubber tree, formerly imported from Brazil, and many other plant species Back to the hotel in the afternoon
Morning pick up from your hotel and drive to Bogor is about 1.5 hours’ drive, where, on arrival, you will visit the Bogor Botanical Garden. After that continue to Bandung, along the way you will passing through the huge tea plantation in Puncak area, with the cool weather and green view along the way. You will stop by at the Gunung Padang megalithic sites to adore the oldest megalithic sites in South East Asia. Then continue to your hotel in Bandung, arrival late afternoon, directly check in and rest. Meals on your own account.

After breakfast at your hotel, then you will visit Tangkuban Perahu crater, an active 2000m wide, surrealistic volcano at 1800 metres above sea level, you can have a light trekking around the crater. Then continue to Ciater Hot Spring with passing through a wonderful tea plantation. Here, you will have lunch (own expenses) and possible to soak in the hot natural water pool.

Drive back to Jakarta or transfer to train station for train journey to Yogyakarta.
