Ujung Kulon & Baduy Tour from Jakarta

A 5-hour of scenic drive from Jakarta to the village of Sumur of Banten, plus some 3 hours sail by normal wooden boat, will take us to Ujung Kulon National park, the home of the endangered Javan rhino.
About 5 am in the morning you will be picked up from your resident/hotel in Jakarta, depart by car to Sumur port for 5-6 hours, pass through the forest, hills, and rice fields arrive then board the boats (wooden boat) take 1 hour to Handeleum island in situated among a group of small island just off the northeastern coast of the Ujung Kulon peninsula, on the way we will stop over at small island Badul island for snorkeling or swimming, lunch will be served on the boat, arrived in the afternoon than looking around the island, overnight at lodge, dinner will be served at 7.00 pm.

After breakfast at 7:00 am, canoes trip up the Cigenter river meander through the dense overhanging rain forest for 2 hours. it is a murky river which is a good place to canoe. The habitat of Python, hornbill, type of monkey where crocodile and rhino are occasional sights in this area, Then back to Handeleum, prepare for departure to Peucang Island by regular wooden boat. Upon arrival at Peucang Island, check in to the guesthouse. The unique and delightful Peucang Island in clear blue water of the northwestern coastline of the national park. It is white sand and coral reef shore hold a fascinating world of marine life while Peucang is an impressive forest shelter and abundance of wildlife, arrived in the afternoon then continue to Cidaon situated on the peninsula opposite island, this large grassland for wild bulls, wild pig, peafowl, leopard, overnight at lodge, dinner time will server at 7.00 pm

After breakfast at 8:00 walk (trekking) north on Peucang island passes through towering forest to a rock archway beyond which are the reef pools of Karang Copong, back to lodge then return trip back to Sumur-Carita in the afternoon, lunch will be served on the boat, on the way, we will stop over at Citerjun for snorkeling to see a variety of fish at the coral reef.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Baduy Luar village. The Baduy (sometimes spelled as Badui) is a sub-ethnic group of Sundanese ethnic groups native to the southeastern part of Banten near the Rangkasbitung on the western hemisphere of Java island. Overnight in homestay in Baduy Luar.

Breakfast at homestay. Exploring and trekking into the Inner Baduy is one of the most popular tour activities and is known as one of the tribes in Indonesia that is still closed from modern life and still keep traditionally. However, tourists can now visit this village, stay overnight, trek around the villages, and also interact with the indigenous people of this tribe. Afternoon back to Jakarta.
