The 5 days Climb Mount Kerinci include visit Lake Gunung Tujuh – a lost world hidden in the clouds, after summit Mount Kerinci. Lake Gunung Tujuh (1,996 m asl) has a breathtaking and mysterious panoramic non-active watered crater of 1,000 hectares surrounded by the 7 peaks and pristine rain forest with abundant wildlife. It is the highest altitude fresh Water Lake in South East Asia.
Important Notes – Climb Mount Kerinci :
It is not suggested to climb during the peak rainy season ( Desember – January )
Upon your arrival in Padang airport, pick up by our guide team then drive to Sungai Penuh via Muara Labuh passing Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah, several Minangkabau villages and tea plantation at Kayu Aro, Upon arrival at Sei Penuh, the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park check-in to your hotel and dinner. It will take approximately 8 hours drive from Padang to Kresik Tuo.

Breakfast at hotel then you will be transfer by local transport to gate of Mt. Kerinci Seblat National Park. After obtain the permit, start your 7-8 hours trekking up to Shelter III, the campsite for overnight. Lunch en route and dinner provided by our guide team.

Wake up at 03:00 am, then you will start your 3 hours trekking to the summit of Mount Kerinci, when you are on the summit, you will be in the highest point on Sumatra. After taking some photos and enjoying the beautiful scenery we will go back to our base camp for breakfast. And then we will proceed trekking down back to Kersik Tuo home stay, it will take around 4 - 5 hours trekking down. In the afternoon we will reach Kresik Tuo Village and have some rest.

After breakfast at the home stay, we will be transfer by local transport to Gunung Tujuh Lake National Park, then continue with a hiking. Lake Danau Tujuh is a huge-mysterious lake on 1.995 m above sea level and surrounded by primary rainforest and 7 hills. Lunch will be served on the side of the lake. The pristine area around the lake is known as the habitat of Sumatran tigers, Sumatran elephants, primates, endemic birds of Sumatra as well as research area for the "small man" who live in the jungle around the lake. Most of the day is spent by trekking and exploring the surrounding in search for animals, birds and exotic plants. After Gunung Tujuh Lake, if time permit we can pay a visit to waterfall and also visit the tea plantation.

Daily breakfast at hotel, then at the appropriate time you will be transfer to Padang airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
