- Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, meet your guide.
- Directly depart for Bohorok, at the southern part of Gunung Leuser National Park. Drive for about 4 hours on a bumpy road from Medan.
- En-route passing through several small towns followed by vast view of rubber and oil palm plantation and some countryside landscapes.
- Check-in at the local guesthouse for accommodation (Non-star hotel).

- Afterward, drive on the road, which skirts the foot of Bukit Kapasan crosses a lush valley up to Embun Pagi view the fascinating landscape overlooking the entire Lake Maninjau; a lake set inside of an ancient crater.
