Arrive at the airport PDG, meet and greet then transfer to Bukittinggi in about 3 hour drive
time. Enroute stop at Anai waterfall, Minangkabau information center in Padang Panjang.

Meals: Breakfast
In the morning after breakfast drive to Batang Palupuh Nature Reserve in about 30 minutes
time. Arrive at Rafflesia village, and start trekking to see the elusive Rafflesia Arnoldy Flower
(no guarantee that the flower will bloom at the time of visit). Trekking is needed and the trek
itself might take around 1 – 3 hrs depending on where the flower will be located. Depending
on the weather, the track might be slippery too if it rains. After the trek back to Bukittinggi
town and start to explore the beauty and the cultural aspects of Minangkabau Highland.
See the landmark of Bukittinggi – Jam Gadang (Clock Tower), the uniqueness of the local
market, museum, Ngarai Sianok – a grand valley, Koto Gadang which is renowned for its
silver works and hand embroidery. Afternoon return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast check out then travel further to Batu Sangkar region to visit Pagaruyung –
site of the ancient Minangkabau Kingdom where women ruled in a matrilineal society. Then
start to watch the Pacu Jawi event. Pacu Jawi is unique to West Sumatra, a traditional bull
racing event held in the muddy rice field to celebrate the end of the harvest season. Late afternoon
drive to Padang, the capital city of West Sumatra. Check-in hotel.

After breakfast, if there is enough time start on a city tour visiting Padang Beach, Chinatown
, and local markets. After the visit transfer to the airport for departure.
