Pick up from airport and drive diretly to Berastagi, a mountain resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery which has an abundance of flowers, vegetables and fruits (most famous of which is the “Marquise” passion fruit). Here you can visit the famous fruits market and continue to Gundaling hill to views two active volcanoes, Sinabung and Sibayak. Overnight stay in Berastagi.

Early morning drive to the slope of Sibayak volcano and then start climbing to catch the Sunrise after take a rest and enjoy it the view, start trekking back to down and continue to Lau debuk-debuk natural hot spring enjoy and relax soaking at hot water pool then back to the hotel. Rest of the day free at your own leisure.

After breakfast you proceed the journey to Samosir Island. Stop will be made at Dokan village, a traditional Karo Bataks village, Sipiso-piso waterfall you will walk down to the waterfall , Long house of Simalungun Bataks. During the trip ( approximately. 4,5 hours drive ) you will also pass local spices garden: coffee, cinnamon, clove etc. In the afternoon you arrive in Parapat from where you cross the lake by ferry to Samosir island.
Samosir Island, situated in the huge crater of Lake Toba, is the heart of Batak culture which has unique and interesting culture. The friendly and welcoming Batak people love music and singing.
Many traditional villages located along Samosir Island shoreline. On the east side of the island, the land rises steeply from a narrow strip of flat land along the lake’s water edge climbing to a central plateau that towers some 780 meters above the waters. From this height one can have a wonderful panoramic view on this magnificent blue lake.

Today you will make excursion to explore the beauty and cultural aspects of Batak visiting Ambarita village to see the stone chairs, tables and court yard of Siallagan’s clan. Simanindo to enjoy the Bataks traditional ritual dances. Continue to Tomok village to see the old tomb of King’s Sidabutar. The rest is your own program, you can take a beautiful walk or ride a bicycle (optional) or take a rest in hotel.

Early in the morning you cross the lake by ferry to Parapat from where you drive to Medan through the plantation route and Pematang Siantar city. Arrive in Medan we will transfer you to the airport for catch your flight to next destination.
